AIMS

  1. To create a sanctuary where all can connect with God, find solace, and forge meaningful connections with fellow believers, cultivating a sense of belonging.
  2. To extend a warm embrace to all who enter, anticipating their needs and providing support with a spirit of kindness and compassion.
  3. Provide support during special events and ceremonies held within the church, including weddings, funerals, baptisms, and other religious celebrations, ensuring that attendees feel supported and cared for.
  4. Solicit feedback from church members and visitors to continuously improve ushering services, ensuring that the department remains responsive to the evolving needs of the congregation and community.

OBJECTIVES

  1. Assist with seating and logistics by helping attendees find suitable seating arrangements, especially during crowded services or events, ensuring that everyone can comfortably participate and follow the proceedings
  2. Provide information and assistance by serving as a point of contact for attendees who may have questions about the church, its programs, or upcoming events, and provide guidance or assistance as needed to enhance their overall experience.
  3. Maintain Order and safety, ensuring that services and events run smoothly by managing crowd control, directing traffic flow, and addressing any safety concerns or emergencies that may arise, thereby creating a secure and orderly environment for worship and fellowship.
  4. Engage in community outreach efforts to extend the church’s hospitality beyond its walls, such as participating in local events, supporting charitable initiatives, and reaching out to those in need.
